How did the First Contiential Congress and ther fighting at lexington and concord effect the colonies?

The Continental congress and the battle of Lexington and concord influenced the war. The British did not like the influence because they would not have rule under the colonies. The continental congress came understand the problems and aspirations of the colonies. The cause of the Lexington war was that the colonists gathered with 200-300 soldiers in the way of the British. Someone shot and then the British then fired back. This then became a battle between the British and the 200 to 300 colonists that gathered together in the way of the British troops. The battle at Lexington and concord battle influenced the war because it was a big battle between the colonists and the British. This affected the colonists because they lost a fair amount of lives. The numbers of lives lost for both sides were fair amounts. For the colonists they lost 49 soldiers and 39 were wounded. In the British they lost 73 soldiers and over 200 were wounded.
